Ihaw Kamayan

Ihaw Kamayan is one of my most favorite places to eat in because of its simple yet solid dining concept. Kamayan serves different types of ready-to-be-cooked marinades of inihaw, which will be grilled as you order. You can see them getting grilled to perfection as you wait for them to be served at your table.
As you can see, the restaurant does not provide any utensils and thus you will need to eat with your hands, hence the name "Kamayan." This might scare some of you that are very keen on table etiquette and poise, but you will realize soon enough that eating with your hands is the best way to eat and enjoy their inihaw.
Their inihaw marinades seem so simple yet so amazing, with a perfect blend of sweetness and spice but is not overpowering; they actually bring out the best in their inihaw. This secret concoction of their marinade is what really makes this restaurant so satisfying and makes me coming back for more.
And it's very sulit too.
Ihaw Kamayan is a simple hole-in-the-wall restaurant near our home in Cainta, Rizal.

Krispy Kreme

To really enjoy a Krispy Kreme donut, while nibbling you must forget everything else and focus on the perfectly-made donut you're eating and the bliss that that it gives you while you're at it.
Krispy Kreme donuts are one of the few things that can easily turn a sad day into a happy one.

Conti's @ Nuvali

Conti's! My favorite restaurant in the Philippines. Today, we just tried a few slices of cake since we just ate in Army Navy (see previous post).
 Banana something cake. Delicious!
Mango Bravo! My favorite cake, and Conti's best seller.
I forgot what this is. haha.
Sansrival, another classic. Normally, sansrival is my favorite type of cake, but not when there's Mango Bravo around!

Conti's is my favorite restaurant because it offers a delectable menu served at a more affordable price than your usual expensive restaurant. Their customer service is not as great though, especially because their branches are too small for the greater number of people who always wants to eat there. Overall, Conti's for me is the definition of sulit/great value.

Army Navy @ Tagaytay

 Taal Volcano!
The venue was really nice and cozy, except when it rains. Expect that the food is expensive, but really good. Not sulit though, if that's what you're looking for.

Sorry, I only got pictures of the place, not the food. haha.
Overall, out of all the Army Navy branches, I like this branch the best.

Sambokojin

(Aiza Seguerra is on the left!)

Sambokojin and Yakimix are basically the same restaurant, but I like Yakimix a bit better (probably because of the desserts). But maybe that's just me. Sambokojin is much more accessible from our house though, so I have eaten there more often than in Yakimix.

Obligatory Yakimix Post

I often eat in Yakimix/Sambokojin because I really like yakiniku (and Japanese food in general). So expect to see me make a lot of posts in such restaurants. :P
